Cool Christmas Gifts

Christmas is going to be here before you know it, and you definitely want to beat the Christmas rush - at least I do. Of course, you'll want your gift to show that you really care about someone, so this means you definitely don't want to go with a gift that is "ho-hum" or bland. The great news is that there are a lot of cool Christmas gifts out there this year to choose from. I've been looking around myself, and here is a look at a few of the Christmas gift ideas that I definitely think are pretty "cool."



Tickets to Concerts or Shows

One very cool gift idea is to give tickets to great concerts or shows. The reasons this is such a cool gift option is because many people don't think about purchasing these things for themselves. A couple years ago I gave my parents tickets to a Christmas concert, and it was the gift they just couldn't stop talking about.



Anything Customized

Almost anything customized makes a cool Christmas gift. People love getting gifts that are customized just for them. It can definitely take an ordinary gift and make it a whole lot more exciting. From personalized mugs, to shirts, caps, picture frames, and throws, there are many options that you can choose from.



A Gift of Art

A gift of art definitely makes it on my list of cool Christmas gifts. Perhaps a nice painting from an artist your loved one really enjoys, or maybe something that you paint for them yourself. You don't have to go with a well known artist either. Often you can find local artists and buy nice prints for a reasonable deal. This is a great gift idea if you really want to wow the ones you love at Christmas time.



Magazine Subscriptions

Magazine subscriptions are cool gifts as well, especially if you make sure to go with a magazine that they are interested in. I love to cook, and my mom buys me a subscription to Taste of Home every year for Christmas. It's something I probably wouldn't buy for myself, and I use the magazines over and over again, so it's a cool gift in my book.



Books

For those who love to read, books make cool gifts. Just make sure you go with books that you know that they will enjoy. Many people enjoy curling up with a blanket, a cup of hot cocoa, and a good book, so a book is a really cool gift idea.
