Unique Christmas Baby Gift

Christmas for a baby is always very special, especially if it is their first Christmas. Even if they don't remember much about it, you still want to make it very special for them and for you. Of course, it can be rather difficult to figure out what to get a baby for a Christmas gift. Through the years with my family adding babies on a regular basis, I've come up with some unique Christmas baby gift ideas myself and I'm happy to share them with you.

Personalized Baby Stockings - Tne great idea that I've used for a unique Christmas baby gift is a personalized baby stocking. After all classic red stockings are traditional for Christmas. I've found some baby size stockings that are so adorable and you can have them personalized with the baby's name and the year as well. This is something that the family will treasure for years to come.

Baby's First Christmas CD - Another cool Christmas idea for the baby is Baby's First Christmas CD. You can find various CDs out there, such as the one by Jed Distler, that includes beautiful classic Christmas songs. They are played in lullaby style and are great for when babies take a nap or are put to bed at night. This is a gift that baby and parents will both get a lot of use from. Many parents choose to put their babies to bed with music, and what a great way to introduce babies to the beautiful songs of the Christmas season.

Christmas Onesies and Bodysuits - Christmas onesies and bodysuits also make unique Christmas baby gift ideas as well. Even though babies only wear them a few times around the holidays, there is something so cheerful about seeing a baby all dressed up for the holiday season. I've found bodysuits and onesies in the past with reindeer on them, Santa, the manger scene, and many cute Christmas quotes.

Locket Ornaments - One of the most beautiful gifts I've ever given to a new baby in the family for Christmas was a special locket ornament. It was a locket that had room for pictures of the baby and could be put on the Christmas tree as an ornament. For several years it had it's place on the tree. The baby I gave it to is now in her teens, and the beautiful thing is that her parents purchased a beautiful chain and she now wears the locket. Every time I see it I know that it was definitely a great gift option for a new baby.
