No one likes to get the same old gifts over and over again. Scarves, gloves, and other common gifts get a bit boring after you get them each year. This is why I like to come up with unique Christmas gift ideas for those on my list. I look for gifts that are reasonably priced and gifts that are so unique that the person has probably never had a gift quite like it in their life.
In my quest for Christmas gifts that are unique, I've found some great ideas. Here are just a few of the unique ideas I've used in the past couple of years. Feel free to use my ideas or you can even share ideas of your own below in the comments section.
1. Turtle Ceramic Coin Bank - So maybe someone has had a piggy bank before, but they've never had a bank like this one. This is one of the unique Christmas gift ideas I enjoy using for kids. This little turtle bank is adorable. It's green and made out of ceramic. The great thing is that it is a reasonable price, and it even makes a great gift for a baby's first Christmas too.
2. Mouth Blown Wine Decanter - For the adults on your list, one unique gift I enjoy giving is a mouth blown wine decanter. The one I like is by Ikea. It has a funnel with it that allows you to easily fill up it again and again. It has a filter that works to strain out any impurities that may be in the wine as well. The wonderful thing is that each decanter is totally unique and at a simple $20, that's a great deal and a wonderful gift for Christmas.
3. Pocket Mirrors - When buying for girls and women, I have found that pocket mirrors are great little unique Christmas gift ideas. You can find them in all different colors. I really love the Agnes + Hoss options that are made out of silk fabric. They will go in your pocket or they fit nicely in a purse as well. They are less than $10, and they make a great little gift and are wonderful for stocking stuffers at Christmas time.
4. Birch Candles - Sure, you've heard of giving candles for Christmas, but these candles are extra special. The exterior of the candles are actually made from birch bark that is totally real. The candles look great, especially during the winter season. You can purchase them at Pottery Barn and in some other places. They start out at about $15, and this is a gift that will be totally unique for the person on your Christmas list this year.
I've used these ideas several times and the people I give to have been thrilled when they opened up their presents. From old to young, you can find something on my list to give this Christmas time. Enjoy using one of my ideas or take time and leave a few great unique Christmas gift ideas of your own below.
